The first meeting of the Leningrad Regional Tripartite Commission of this year was held

At the Government House of the Leningrad Region, social partners discussed the issues of combating industrial injuries and occupational diseases, tariff policy in the field of public utilities and passenger transportation, as well as the development of volunteering among employees of enterprises and organizations in the region. The meeting was attended by Yulia Kosareva, coordinator of the Leningrad Regional Tripartite Commission on behalf of the executive authorities, Chairman of the Labor and Employment Committee of the 47th Region; Alexander Gabitov, President of the Leningrad Region Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs; Maria Artyukhina, coordinator of the Leningrad Regional Tripartite Commission on behalf of trade unions, Deputy Chairman of the Leningrad Federation of Trade Unions (LFTU); and representatives of the Leningrad Region executive authorities, employers, and regional leaders of sectoral trade unions. The parties demonstrated their unity in the belief that the registration of industrial accidents should be as objective as possible, and that employers should use all the funds allocated by the Social Fund of Russia for occupational safety and health. They also emphasized that any accident, whether severe, multiple, or fatal, should be investigated with the participation of trade union experts, even if there is no trade union organization at the workplace.
